Tell me does anyone else have a three year old that makes them want to tear their hair out.  All i ever here is im hungry, im thursty (he says as he is eating and drinking) or you wana play with me?  This all sounds very cute but not every single min of the day even when you are trying to take a dump and he bursts in saying Im thursty.  He really is like a little shaddow, im cooking diner just after our "play time" in the afternoon and im tripping over him every time i turn around.  Dont get me wrong i love him to bits, but i really need space at least for 5 min during the day.  Any tips

im afraid they are all like this at some point ...... thank god for TV.  I know most people dont want their little ones zoned out infront of the tv, but when you need half an hour to cook diner or (as you say) have a dump, it really does the trick

Get him to do the house work for you ... really its great.  They are at the age where they like helping (trust me they will grow out of it so make the best of it)  I got my little one at that age to help empty the dishwasher, sweep the floor, do his laundry, wipe down the tables, put stuff in the bin etc ..... it kept him running and wore him out, eventually he decided he didnt want to play with mummy anymore lol.
