Hello everybody! I am a mum of a lovely 7 months old boy and looking for some friends....I just moved to a new area in Reading UK and feel a bit lonely. My boy hasnt got a routine which leaves me pretty tired and although I have tried to get him into a routine it is just not possible with him.

Hey there Pao.  Welcome to mumsfriends.com
Awe a little 7 month old baby boy, how cute.  It can be very tough when they dont settle into a routine the way you want to, especially when they start getting active at seven months old.  Your not alone, lol.  I have two boyz myself and one of them settled into a routine very well ... almost down to the min. but my other little fella had other ideas lol.  You will probably find that if you just keep at it he will slip in and out of the routine you set for him but eventually when he gets to be a little older he will take to it much better.  I think boyz find it more difficult then girls to settle because they are much more physical but keep at it.

I used to live in Reading,UK myself.  I loved it but moved away (stupid idea that was lol).  I know there are quite a few nice mother and toddler groups there perhaps you might try a few and see what you think.  It can be very lonely moving to a new area when you dont know anyone there.  I always knock on my neighbours doors to say hi and introduce myself and little ones (and secretly interview them for baby sitting lol).  Its a good way of getting to know them.

I hoped that helped a little.
